My name is Michelle Lane, I have been an RN for over 25 years. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I have diverse experience in nursing and I have a desire to see nursing influence advanced. I am motivated to be a voice of change in healthcare and my goal is to one day sit on a governing board of healthcare. I chose USF’s MSN-CNL program because I believe it will equip me to be in a position of leadership at the point of care where I may have influence on the way healthcare systems function in the future.

May we hope that when we are all dead and gone, leaders will arise who have been personally experienced in the hard, practical work, the difficulties and the joys of organizing nursing reforms, and who will lead far beyond anything we have done.
